Mars Hymn

Words written for 21st Anniversary of The Mars /  Music by Gordon Douglas © 2008

Praise God, our good work still doth grow;

Praise him, and serve him here below,

Join voices with the Heavenly Host

Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost.

O God, our help in years gone by

Shower down thy blessings from on high

Thou hast been ever on our side,

Still in thy love may we abide.

Guide thou our efforts in this work,

Disperse all ills where’er they lurk

Support the weak, maintain the strong

Help us to conquer every wrong.

Praise God, our good work still doth grow;

Praise him, and serve him here below,

Join voices with the Heavenly Host

Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost.

Our boys are scattered o’er this sphere,

May they to thee be ever dear;

Guard them in peace through life’s rough blast,

And pilot them to Heaven at last.

Praise God, our good work still doth grow;

Praise him, and serve him here below,

Join voices with the Heavenly Host

Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
